Some news from inside Iran:
- More detail on the brutal activity of regime agents, particularly Ansar Hezbollah, at Tehran University. Widespread use of tear gas and physical violence. 400 students have reportedly been arrested.
- Ansar Hezbollah and regime agents are preventing people from entering Amir Kabir University and are beating students inside and raiding the dorms just like at Tehran University.
- Alameh Tabatbyi University’s dorms are also being searched, raided and largely destroyed.
- Some reports indicate 1-2 million people are gathered in Tehran for the demonstrations. Original reports said 100-200,000 people. No way to know for sure what is true, but the crowds are massive, extending over 5 miles long.
- Reports are coming in that Basiji forces and Ansar Hezbollah personnel that tried to beat and disperse the demonstrations in the beginning are not showing up. The protestors believe that they are failing to act out of fear of the crowds.
- All the shops in Tehran are planning to close tomorrow as a form of protest.
