First this article delineating the progress Iran has made towards developing at least a nuclear device. Here is the headline.

Then there is this article which Drudge chose to juxtapose with the one above. Its headline is Pentagon eyes accelerated “bunker buster” bomb.

Analysis. Lest you believe that the United States, Israel or some combination thereof along with other participants in the area are not serious about dismembering Iran’s nuclear program, I challenge you to rethink that belief. The B-2 is probably limited to three of the bombs at a time due to bomb bay size limitations. The B-52 can probably carry four if not more with internal and external carriage. The above ground facilities can be hit with normal ordnance.

At the moment the Arab Muslim countries of the Middle East and South Asia may hate Israel. They do not fear it. They fear the Persian Shiites. I would not be surprised to see a temporary alliance between the Gulf Cooperation Council states maybe with the exception of Qatar and Israel to make a coordinated attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. It makes sense geographically. It actually makes sense politically. It even makes sense religiously.
