These events have been reported to World Threats.
Former Presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi will participate in the Qods Day march.
This year’s Qods Day Friday Prayers will not be lead by Rafsanjani. The prayers will be lead by Ahmad Khatami and President Ahmadinejad will be the speaker before the prayer.
Rafsanjani has issued a statement inviting the people to participate in the Qods Day march as “eternal awakening for the negligent people”.
The Special Security Forces are confiscating motorcycles driven by young people. This is apparently related to reducing mobility during the Qods Day March.
There is anticipation that President Ahmadinejad will declare the Saturday between Qods Day and the end of Ramadan a holiday. This would turn the weekend into a four day holiday. This move is probably an attempt to get residents of Tehran out of town and limit the size of any anti-regime protests.
Former Presidential candidate Medi Karrobi has announced that he will continue to document the torture and rapes of anti-government protesters. He is prepared at some point to be arrested for his efforts to publicize the mistreatment of prisoners.
