Muslim Anti-Terror Activist Receives Death Threat

Majed Moughni, a Muslim attorney in Dearborn, M.I. has received a death threat following his organizing of a rally condemning terrorism in the name of Islam, The Detroit Free Press reports.
“If you’re in front of me, I will shoot you. I will put a bullet in your head. This is the consequence of a hypocrite,” the caller said in an Arabic accent, whose threat was partially recorded.
Moughni received the threat after he put together a demonstration condemning terrorism in reaction to the failed plot to destroy a Northwest Airlines flight as it landed in Detroit. Approximately 150 Muslims participated in the rally which was organized online via the Facebook social networking website, according to ClickonDetroit.com. A banner with the words “Not in the Name of Islam” was carried by demonstrators at the event.
“This is the people we are fighting. This is our battle. Our battle is not the world against Islam. It’s Islam and the world against these terrorists. They got me as a target and we’re ready to die,” Moughni told the website.
