Clashes have started between pro-democracy protesters and Special Guards Forces in Aria Shahr (Sadeqieh) Square. The people have started countering security forces by chanting “death to dictator” and Allah O Akbar”. Plain clothes agents are walking among the protesters and large crowds are chanting “political prisoners must be freed” and “death to dictator”, waving flags and placards.
A number of people who were chanting anti-government slogans in Azadi square were arrested. Two girls were beaten by security forces and then arrested. People are chanting “death to dictator” and Zealous Iranians support us”. The crowds are moving towards Azadi Square. Security forces have taken extreme security measures.
