Tehran, March 16
An eyewitness: in Aryashahr about 10 to 20 people were arrested. The region has turned to a war zone. An eyewitness: three motorbikes belonging to suppressive forces were torched. In Satari 4 people were arrested. They had handcuffed and 8 years old kid. In Tehranpars people chanted “death to Khameni”, “Allah O Akbar” and “death to dictator”. Kaj Sq. Was under people’s control for one and half hour.

In Saadatabad 200 SSF bikeriders were stationed. People confiscated three of the bikes and destroyed them. SSF forces beat about 40 people with electric batons. A member of students committee reports: (the following regions were covered by this member: Azadi Sq, South Mehrabad, Ekbatan, West Shahrak, Gisha, Sadeghieh Sq, Satarkhan St, Tohid Sq, Sarsabil St, Azadi St, Karoon St, Jaihoon, Hashemi, Jomhori Sq, Jomhori St, Imam Hossein Sq, Tirandaz Intersection)
I was covering these regions from 5 pm to 9 pm. Since 6 in the afternoon all gas stations were closed and SSF forces were stationed in them. They didn’t let people to use the stations to gas their vehicles,

Tehran was like a war zone on Tuesday (March 16). Handmade grenades and firecrackers landed in the streets and exploded. SSF, anti riot forces, Especial Units, Plainclothes and Bassijies, fully equipped and armed were stationed in all squares and streets with high traffic. They were also equipped with teargas and cannon-water vehicles. Having all these equipments they still couldn’t have the upper hand in confrontation with the youths and people.

An SSF force said that all units were ordered not to enter tight and dark streets. They had to be stationed just in wide streets. They were ordered not to arrest people and just use teargas if they are attacked and then retreat gradually from the region. The reason of such order was “not to aggravate the crowd”. They were also told not to move around in groups with their equipments because that too would provoke people and youths and “we cannot confront them in any way”.

Hamedan, March 16
Kaj Blvd. at 2130- The crowd was over 10000 in the boulevard and they crashed with Khamenei’s suppressive forces. Two of the forces were injured and taken away with ambulance. People pour handmade bombs over these forces. Regime’s forces broke street lamps so that no body could tape the scene. Clashes continued until 11 pm. The crowd divided itself into few groups and the agents were stuck in the middle of them. Every where was dark and the crowd just threw stones and chanted anti regime slogans.

Qazvin, March 16
Khayam St. – The crowd gathered in protest in Khayam St. The anti-riot forces rushed to the street and dispersed the crowd.

Behbahan, March 16
Ahwaz Old Road- A huge crowd gathered in Ahwaz Old Road. They torched tires and exploded feast explosives and expressed their protest against the regime by chanting “death to Khamenei” and “death to dictator”. An eyewitness said: I was taping the scene and people thought that I was an agent and wanted to attack me. I immediately chanted “death to Khameni” and they chanted with me. A huge crowd has gathered and those who passed by in cars honked their horns to protest the regime.

Rasht, March 16
Governmental building of Body Training in Manzarieh was on fire. A great number of Especial Units were present and they didn’t let anybody to tape the scene.

Babol, March 16
Nakhostvaziri St. at 1730- During the clash of Nakhostvaziri St. a 20 years old youth was injured due to a baton strike on his head and was transferred to hospital. Vast clashes continued between SSF and youths for a while. At 6 pm some girls were tearing the ominous picture of Khamenei when SSF attacked them. People came to their rescue and clashed with SSF.

Khoramabad, March 16
People controlled the city for 20 minutes. Around the lake people beat three Bassijies badly and chanted “death to Khamenei”, “Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is void” and “don’t be afraid we are all together”. In Ghaziabad region youths wanted to uproot a power transformer but suppressive forces entered the scene and they couldn’t finish the job.
