Ahmadinejad Ill?

Posted by Matthew Avitabile On October - 26 - 2008

According to the Iranian state-run news agency, the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has become ill due to exhaustion:

The announcement comes as doubts have surfaced over whether Ahmadinejad, who faces strong criticism from opponents, will seek re-election next year.

Ahmadinejad canceled a speech on Wednesday and did not attend a cabinet meeting the same day. Ahmadinejad is known for working long hours but is only 52 years old (he turns 53 Monday). This comes after reports of Hassan Nasrallah becoming mysteriously ill and Kim Jong il also falling sick.

Three mysterious illnesses have befallen three enemies of the United States in the last six months. Only Kim Jong Il’s could have been more expected due to his older age. Two of those who became sick were also enemies of Israel and allies. Perhaps this is simply exhaustion, but perhaps it’s part of something bigger.
