MyWay is reporting that Ayatollah Mohammad Bagher Kharrazi has called for the creation of a greater Iran.

A radical cleric called Saturday for the creation of a “Greater Iran” that would rule over the entire Middle East and Central Asia, in an event that he said would herald the coming of Islam’s expected messiah.

Ayatollah Mohammad Bagher Kharrazi said the creation of what he calls an Islamic United States is a central aim of the political party he leads called Hezbollah, or Party of God, and that he hoped to make it a reality if they win the next presidential election.

Kharrazi’s comments reveal the thinking of a growing number of hard-liners in Iran, many of whom have become more radical during the post election political crisis and the international standoff over the country’s nuclear program. Kharrazi, however, is not highly influential in Iran’s clerical hierarchy and his views do not represent those of the current government.

Analysis. The mullahocracy is finally going public about its intentions. “The Islamic United States will be an introduction to the formation of the global village of the oppressed and that will be a prelude to the single global rule of the Mahdi,” the Hezbollah newspaper quoted him as saying.” If you have any further doubts that these people are serious about ruling the World, this should remove those doubts. The article suggest that Kharrazi is not that influential in the current Council of Experts. What is not said is that much more influential mullahs such as Yadzi (Yazdi) believe the same. The only conflict is whether or not to form the new Persian Empire first or try to bring forth the Mahdi. A difference without a distinction.

There is only one way that such a state can be created and that is by war. This is not only a physical reality but a Shiite religious imperative. There must be major chaos to bring forth the Mahdi. A war that begins as a regional war with the excuse that Israel must be destroyed is the beginning. These people are depending on the abhorrence of war by their neighbors to allow them to be conquered. Seen this before. It started with the remilitarization of the Rheinland and ended on May 10, 1945 when Germany surrendered. ‘Nuff said.
