Mexican Drug Lords Plotted to Attack Texas Dam

Well, maybe this will make the U.S. pay attention to the war in Mexico (yes, we can call it that). One drug cartel planned to bomb a dam on the border with Texas in order to hurt a rival drug gang that has routes in the area. Even though the target wasn’t the civilian population, such an attack still would have been a disaster if successful.
The authorities say they would have needed a tractor-trailer full of dynamite to pull it off, and only “small amounts of dynamite” were found near the target.
