Iran Taking the Lead in Non-Gas Cars?
On November - 6 - 2008
This is not necessarily about how the Islamic Republic of Iran is building the capabilities to conquer the Middle East, but is still interesting. According to the official Iranian news agency, the capital of Teheran will have 50 compressed natural gas stations by next March.
Speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony to launch a station in Imam Hossein Town, Mohammad Rouyanian further added that the price of CNG has not changed and it is delivered to the station owners at the earlier price of 80 rials.
I remember that the Pickens plan called for an increase of CNG and Iran of all places is taking the lead? And 80 rials? That’s less than a penny!
