Iran Uprising On the Anniversary of 9 Jul 1999

Tehran- July 8, 2010. In fear of the spread of the protest gathering of merchants of Bazaar and the people and students supporting them team of 10 to 30 of Plainclothes flooded into Topkhaneh Square and around Pamenar and Syrous St. today.
July 8, 2010. News obtained from Hamedan and Shiraz say that since early hours of today SSF is in full state of alert in these two cities and their becoming active throughout the city.
Sanandaj- July 8, 2010. In fear of protests in Sanandaj at the anniversary of Students Uprising regime’s suppressive forces including Bassijies, SSF and Plainclothes are vastly patrolling throughout the city.
Tabriz, July 8, 2010. Tabriz’s Bazaar of Carpet was on strike today.
Mashad, July 8, 2010. Tehran- July 8, 2010. At 1300 today a great number of youths and Bazaaries gathered in Shoemakers Bazaar chanting ‘death to Khamenei’, ‘death to Ahmadinejad’ and ‘victory is God’s and victory is near – death to this deceptive government’. All the entrances of Shoemaker Bazaar were blocked by SSF and intelligence agents.
Tehran- July 8, 2010. About 800 youths and Bazaaries gathered at Bozarjomehri St. near the main entrance of the Tehran’s Roofed Bazaar chanting ‘death to dictator’ and ‘death to Khamenei’.
Tehran- July 8, 2010. Plainclothes the main mercenaries of Khamenei are stationed at the entrance of Isfahan’s Ghaisarieh Bazaar in Naghshe Jahan. They are putting pressure on the merchants to put an end to their strike.

Political prisoner Ali Saremi, a supporter of PMOI who has spent 23 years of his life in the prisons of Shah and regime recalls July 9, 1999 as another day of uprising of Iranian nation such as the uprisings during the last year, points to the vast execution executed daily in Iran and says: “when the tyranny loses its legitimacy it hangs to suppression. The main tools it uses are torture, execution and terror using its mercenaries…And the people must keep alive the memory of July 9, 1999 with their protests and express their hatred of this suppression. July 7, 2010 – Ali Saremi from Gohardasht Prison”.All shops selling Golden jewelry were closed throughout Mashad.
