Khamenei Telling Advisors He Met Hidden Imam

Click here for my latest NRB post (please comment there) about Ayatollah Khamenei reportedly telling his advisors that he has met with the Hidden Imam, who promised to return before Khamenei’s time as Supreme Leader ends (meaning Khamenei dies or is overthrown).
I point out three possibilities as to why Khamenei is saying this. Notably, he is only saying this in private. It seems that he’s scared of causing a backlash among the people and the clerics who rebuked Ahmadinejad for similar language.
