Iran/Sudan Nuclear Axis?
As though the world wasn’t dangerous enough, the government in the Sudan is working on a nuclear “energy” program. This repressive regime, which sheltered Osama bin Laden last decade, is most well-known for the horrible genocide in Darfur.
And even worse, not only is there a nuclear program, but the IAEA is also funding it:
[Omar] said that Sudan had reported its intentions to the International Atomic Energy Agency, which would participate in funding the project.
The Sudan also has oil and is moving closer to China. As if President Obama won’t have enough on his hands. This comes after Iran had offered to share its nuclear technology with other Muslim nations:
Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, while meeting Sudanese President Omar al-Beshir, said today that the Islamic republic was ready to share nuclear technology with other countries, Sudanese state media reported.
This was in 2006. The Sudan has had over two years to work on this project. Coincidence?
