Gambill in The Middle East Intelligence Bulletin says that Bashar Assad’s younger brother, Maher, went to Baghdad for a two-day secret meeting with Qusay Hussein. This is where agreements were reportedly made for Iraq to hide WMD in Syria if UN inspections were allowed again and for Iraqi officials to receive harbor in Syria if Iraq was attacked.
