Rebels Claim Qaddafi Attempts Talks, Qaddafi Denies

There have been conflicting reports regarding the fate of dictator Muommar Qaddafi. According to some sources the dictator reached out to rebels in an attempt to secure an exile agreement. His official line is that it never happened.
Rebels say they have rejected an approach by officials offering to hold talks on an exit for the Libyan leader.
There appears to be a great overlap in some reporting. Many sources appear to show that Qaddafi has made some sort of offer, but the exact details are unclear.
