The May 25, 2004 issue of the subscription intelligence newsletter, Geostrategy-Direct.com, again reports that Iraq’s WMD are in Syria and Lebanon. The report says U.S. intelligence officials confirmed to them that convoys were spotted going into Syria in early 2003, and that Iraqi scientists and technicians confirmed the WMD shipment occurred. Human intelligence sources then tracked the weapons to Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.

The report says that Syria held onto the dual-use nuclear components Iraq sent for use in their own program, and sent the “smoking gun” material to Lebanon.
