Not exactly terrorism or geopolitical news, but it’s interesting that we are accelerating our oil drilling in other parts of the world. This could help us become slightly less vulnerable to oil shocks and take away a tiny portion of power from the Iranians.

Bahraini Energy Minister Abdul Hussein Al Mirza said Occidental would drill three wells and operate Blocks 3 and 4. Al Mirza said PTT would operate Block 2, located offshore in the north of Bahrain and which covers 2,228 square kilometers.
