Add this one to the growing list. Mullah Abdullah Zakir, whose real name is Abdullah Ghulum Rasoul, was released from Guantanamo Bay and has re-emerged as the leader of Taliban operations in southern Afghanistan. The Pentagon says up to 60 prisoners released from Gitmo have gone back to fight U.S. forces.
On a positive note, DNI Blair actually did something right and expressed skepticism about the Bush Administration’s transferring of captured terrorists to Saudi Arabia for “rehabiliation” saying it “doesn’t inspire confidence.”
