Qatar marks the first Arab “ally” of the U.S. to defect to the Iran-Syria Axis:

Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani said during a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran that the Islamic world needed a superpower like Iran, and that Iran’s achievements “bring benefit to the Islamic world.”
