103 EU Parliament Members Tell US To Remove Terror Label from Iranian Opposition Group:

The VP of the European Parliament has released a letter saying that 103 members of the European Parliament are calling on the U.S. to remove the People’s Mujahideen of Iran from its list of terrorist groups. The UK and EU have both removed the group from their lists due to court rulings over the past year.
The letter describes PMOI as “a democratic force with a large social base.”
Experts are divided on the issue of PMOI. The experts at the Iran Policy Committee support removing the PMOI from the terrorist list, and feel they truly are a democratic opposition force. Other experts like Michael Ledeen and Ken Timmerman feel they are more like a Marxist cult.
